The Base B1610 T-Rex Top is a robust S3S safety boot designed for demanding industrial, construction and outdoor working environments. Part of the Base Fortrex collection, it combines a water-resistant nubuck leather upper with advanced toe, puncture and temperature protection.
Its high-leg design provides additional support around the ankle, while the generous fit and shock-absorbing heel help maintain comfort during long shifts. The black and orange design also gives the boot a distinctive, modern appearance.
Advanced toe and puncture protection
The B1610 features a safety toe cap tested to withstand impacts of up to 200 joules. Underfoot, a flexible non-metallic puncture-resistant insert helps protect against sharp objects and has been tested using a 3 mm nail.
Because the puncture-resistant component is non-metallic, it provides essential underfoot protection without the weight and rigidity associated with a traditional steel midsole.
Protection in hot and cold conditions
Designed for temperature-variable working environments, the Base T-Rex Top provides cold insulation down to -17°C and heat insulation up to 150°C.
Its durable rubber outsole also offers contact heat resistance up to 300°C for one minute, making the boot suitable for demanding environments where workers may encounter hot ground or surfaces.
Secure grip and lasting durability
The outsole incorporates a ladder-grip profile to improve stability when working on ladders. A protective scuff cap helps reduce damage to the toe area during kneeling work, while the slip-resistant tread provides secure footing on challenging surfaces.
The outsole is also resistant to fuel oil and hydrocarbons, helping it withstand regular use in industrial, engineering and maintenance environments.
